GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN
Department stores hold a special place
in the hearts of many of my generation.
Every holiday season
they were the stuff that dreams were made of.
Magical places
filled with lights, decorations, gifts, and
SANTA CLAUS!
Sadly the few that remain are but hollow vestiges of times past.
So for today let's go back to a better time and place.
